A big thank you to all of you who made it out to Putters last Sunday, and to
those of you who donated in other ways.
The totals aren't in yet, but judging from what we saw, it was a great success!
We had a great time while raising money for a great cause. (Except Jason who got
outbid on the double date package)

05.16.10 J D Legends And A Good Cause
This Friday, May 21st, we will be heading north to
J.D. Legends in Franklin, Ohio. (known in some
circles as "Dearthland")
We start at 7:30 and go until the neighbors shut us down about 11:30. Another
guaranteed good time.
On Sunday, we'll have the honor of helping out a good cause.
On April 18th, 2010 Steven Foley was killed in an automobile accident, leaving
behind two children, Faith and Lily.
We'll be trying to help out with a benefit on Sunday, May 23rd at
Putters in West Chester, 6575 Cincinnati-Dayton
Rd.
The benefit goes from 4-9. We'll be starting between 5-6. All ages are welcome.
There will be some great items up for raffle and split the pot.
A big thanks goes out to Putters for letting us help host this event and for
donating 10% of all food and beverage sales between 4 and 9. So eat, drink and
donate. You gotta eat and drink anyway, right?!
There will be no cover charge so feel free to use one of the donation buckets
instead.
If you can't make it and would still like to donate, you can go to the
Ohio Valley Restoration website (Steven's
employer),
or go to any
US Bank location and ask to donate to the Faith
and Lily Foley fund.
Please come out or donate. We'd appreciate it.

Well, it's May and there's no better time for
MainStrasse Maifest in beautiful Covington, KY!
We'll be celebrating the lusty month of May by playing there Friday, May 14th
from 7 'til 11.
Come join us for a trip around the Maypole.
The fun continues on Saturday as we head west to the
Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, IN.
Come win a fortune, buy some Red Bull and join us from midnight 'til 3.

First of all a big Whammies' thanks needs to go out to Mr. Mike Zapf for filling
in for the ailing Aaron Thomas last Friday.
Mike was our original singer and did a bang up job on short notice.
Thanks again. We couldn't have done it without you.
Aaron will have your car washed and clothes laundered at your request.
A week off should have Aaron tan and rested for the next go 'round.
We shall see.

First off, a big ol' Whammies "thank you" to all of you who came out to Rick's
last Saturday.
We had a blast!
Next up, we will be at Play By Play In
Silverton this Friday, March 19th.
It's 80's theme night, so dust off your parachute pants, leg warmers and best
80's wear, and come out for a night of pure 80's!
Saturday, the 20th finds us in beautiful Lawrenceburg, Indiana at the Hollywood
Casino.
Again, we'll be starting at Midnight and going until 3am.
Come early, eat, join the high rollers and then us for a guaranteed great time.

A night with us!
Yep, that's right. 4 out of 5 doctors agree that the best cure for cabin fever
is a night with The Whammies.
And, oh, how lucky you are.
As fate would have it, we'll be dosing out the healing sounds of the 80's this
Saturday, February 20th at Jefferson Hall at Newport on the Levee.
Bring your cold, tired self out and join us for a big ol' shot of vitamin W.
It's like a glass of orange juice without the pulp or the dirty glass*. (well,
at least without the dirty glass)

This Saturday, we'll be at the Hollywood Casino.

Yes, we said midnight. We'll get started then and play on until 3.
So it's your choice, bring a sleeping bag or a case of red bull.
Either way, you'll have a blast.

This Wednesday, January 6th, we will be at Cadillac Ranch in downtown Cincinnati
for the taping of an extra special playoff edition of Bengals Nation. The taping

Fairfield.
Being that it's our first time, we'd sure appreciate you comin' out.

09.21.09 - Who Dey, JD's and Hollywood. What a
week!
Howdy folks! This week, we'll be all over the map.
This Wednesday finds us in downtown Cincinnati at Cadillac Ranch for the taping
of the Bengals Nation Show which will air Saturday night. The taping begins at
6, so stop down and have a couple of cold ones and root them Bengals on. (and
us, too while you're at it) Friday, we trek up north to JD Legends in Franklin,
OH. We'll be starting at 8, but come early and grab a bite. While you're there,
be sure to ask Jason for a guided tour of the place. He knows where all the
bodies are buried. Saturday, we'll wrap things up at the Hollywood Casino in
Lawrenceburg, IN. We'll be in the pavilion starting at 7.
So rub something for good luck and come on out.
08.31.09 - J-Hall Recap And Photos
As usual, Jefferson Hall was a great time.
Although Aaron was recovering from his recent bout with the H2N2 virus (always
ahead the curve), he toughed it out as best he could. Even when his medication
started kicking in during the second set, he continued on like the trooper he
is.
Don't you worry, he'll be back in tip top shape before this weekend.

08.28.09 - J-Hall and Congrats!!
First of all, a big Whammies' congratulations goes out to Danny and Missy Conrad.
On August 18th they welcomed into the world little miss Phoebe Grace, weighing
in at 7lb 9oz and stretching out to 19 inches.
Both mother and baby are doing fine. Now, Danny on the other hand...
In fact, that's her floating around our website! Everyone say "Hi, Phoebe!".
In all the commotion, we forgot to remind you that we will be playing tonight
at Jefferson Hall in Newport, KY.
So, come on out and give Danny a big ol' slap on the back and celebrate his
virility.

Wow! What a weekend! We're still catching our
collective breath.
Starting on Friday, we kicked off Junefest. What a great time!
Aaron pulled quadruple duty, singing and playing bass for us and also playing
bass and helping out on vocals for
Laika.
(great band, by the way. Check them out)
The boy went non-stop for 4 hours!
Being an adult only event, we had to do without Dove. Maybe someday he can join
the big boyz (as the kids say).
Being an adult only event, it was a blast! Those people know how to have a good
time.

On Saturday, Jefferson Hall called and whaddaya know, another great time!
Believe it or not, Aaron was rarin' to go. (poetic, huh?) And he didn't
disappoint.
As usual, it was more than fun. It was a good old fashioned, good time!

We'll be kickin' off the weekend at Junefest in scenic
Mt Lookout.
It's the annual party put on by Our Lord Christ the King church at
3223 Linwood Rd.
We'll start at 8 and play 'til 12 with
Laika sharing the stage with
us, which gives you non-stop entertainment all night!
Being an adult only event, it's guaranteed to be a great time.
It'll be worth your time just to see if Aaron makes it through the night with NO
breaks.

The Broad Street Bash in Middletown was great!
We had a great time. The weather was perfect and the food was great.
It was, well.......great!

Who knew Whitesnake could sound so good played while wearing business casual.
We also had the privilege of seeing Romey's toes up-close and personal.
